The Acne Studios Minami-Aoyama Exclusive 3D Studded Denim Pants are part of a limited capsule collection created in collaboration with Japanese contemporary ceramic artist Takuro Kuwata. Inspired by the artist’s signature use of irregular forms, splattered glazes, and raw textures, these jeans transform classic denim into a wearable art piece.

Crafted from heavyweight 14oz twill denim, the pants undergo a three-stage washing process to achieve a soft yet structured hand feel. The surface features vintage fading, distressed detailing, and paint-splatter effects that enhance the artistic and street-inspired aesthetic.

A standout feature is the application of over 260 hand-applied metal studs and rivets, precisely placed using advanced 3D heat-transfer positioning technology. The stud layout follows an intentionally irregular pattern, echoing the spontaneous cracks and glaze bursts found in ceramic art. Each pair displays subtle variations, making every piece unique.

Returns and exchanges
