Air Max Plus ‘Hyper Blue’ 2025

The Air Max Plus ‘Hyper Blue’ revives one of the most iconic OG colorways from the original 1998 Air Max Plus lineup. Designed by Sean McDowell, the silhouette is instantly recognizable for its aggressive TPU cage, gradient mesh upper, and distinctive Tuned Air cushioning system. The 2025 edition stays true to the original look while bringing the legendary colorway back for a new generation.

The upper features a gradient blue mesh construction, transitioning from lighter tones at the forefoot to deeper blue toward the heel. Black TPU overlays sweep across the upper in the model’s signature palm tree-inspired pattern, while a yellow mini Swoosh adds a sharp contrast on the lateral side. The classic Tn Air badge appears on the heel, reinforcing the sneaker’s original Tuned Air identity.

Underfoot, the sneaker sits on a white and black polyurethane midsole equipped with visible Air cushioning units in the forefoot and heel. Orange-tinted Air units add another layer of OG-inspired color, while the sculpted midfoot shank plate provides stability and recalls the whale-tail inspiration behind the original design.
