Teaming up with the Dutch artist in July 2019, Nike SB and Parra present a special collaboration of the iconic Dunk Low OG QS. The visual artist’s whimsical style is interpreted via multicolored chenille Swooshes on the leather upper and a graphic sockliner. A patterned tongue label and alternating co-branding embroidered on the backstay recognize both entities.
Description
Description
The Parra x Dunk Low OG SB QS is a vibrant collaboration between Dutch artist Piet Parra and Nike SB, bringing a fresh, artistic twist to the iconic Dunk Low silhouette. Known for his colorful, abstract style, Parra infuses the sneaker with his signature aesthetic, resulting in a standout piece that’s both wearable art and a functional skateboard sneaker.
This edition of the Dunk Low features a predominantly white leather base, which serves as a clean canvas for Parra’s distinctive touches. The overlays are adorned with multicolored patterns that include shades of blue, red, and pink, along with Parra’s iconic wavy lines and quirky shapes. This unique design not only catches the eye but also reflects Parra’s flair for combining vivid colors and intricate patterns.
One of the most striking features of this collaboration is the multicolored outsole, which complements the upper’s design and adds an extra pop of color with every step. The sneaker also features a custom Parra logo on the tongue and insole, enhancing its exclusivity and appeal as a collector’s item.
From a functional perspective, the Parra x Dunk Low OG SB QS retains the essential elements that make the Dunk Low a preferred choice among skateboarders. It includes a padded tongue and collar for added comfort and support, while the Zoom Air unit in the heel provides responsive cushioning, crucial for absorbing impacts during skateboarding. The flexible rubber outsole is designed with a pivot circle and a herringbone pattern, offering excellent traction and durability on the skateboard or pavement.
Embrace the unique blend of art and athleticism with the Parra x Dunk Low OG SB QS. Check out our website to secure your pair today, and add a piece of wearable art to your sneaker rotation that’s sure to turn heads and spark conversations wherever you go.
