Description
Description
This triple collaboration between Saint Michael, Santastic!, and GEEKS RULE channels the raw, underground aesthetic of Japanese cult manga into a wearable form.
The design draws directly from the works of Inoue Santa, blending iconic visuals from Neighbor No.13 and 惨家, delivering a dark, distorted narrative rooted in 90s Japanese subculture.
The front graphic features a grainy, high-contrast character portrait layered with urban elements and Japanese typography, creating a chaotic yet cinematic composition. The back presents a minimal silhouette figure, reinforcing the storytelling aspect and adding depth to the piece.
Constructed from 260g heavyweight 100% cotton double-yarn jersey, the fabric is processed through a full garment wash and overdye treatment, increasing the final weight to approximately 280g while achieving a naturally aged texture. The tubular knit construction (no side seams) enhances comfort and gives a clean, uninterrupted silhouette.
Signature SAINT MICHAEL finishing includes potassium permanganate spray fading, producing a unique distressed gradient effect across the garment. Combined with hand-finished distressing on collar and hems, each piece carries a distinct vintage identity.
The graphic is executed using high-definition digital direct-to-garment printing, allowing intricate tonal details and a slightly faded, non-solid finish where the base fabric subtly shows through. A protective transparent coating ensures durability while preserving the vintage look.
Complete with custom collaboration tags, anti-counterfeit detailing, and full accessory set, this piece stands as a fusion of anime, streetwear, and underground art culture.
